Never work with kids and animals. Isn’t that what they say when you work in the movies?

Well Get Connected asked us if we’d like to design some cartoons to advertise their service to young people.

Working with Radioville, who created the script and provided the soundtrack, we animated a total of six movies. The idea of having them in two parts was to create a cliff-hanger at the end of part one with part two revealing the issue the young person was facing.

The movies are now up on You Tube and are available for the audience to paste them in to blogs, Facebook, Bebo and Myspace etc.

The characters are deliberately under designed, and animated loosely rather than smooth to give across a more unrefined and rough around the edges feel.

The original character sketches were drawn by Rich Johnston a comicbook stalwart and author of Lying in the gutters a column on the Comic Book Resources website.

Rabbits

The rabbits movie was our first attempt at animation and again this was a script supplied by Radioville.

The concept behind this advert is the rabbits are the worries multiplying and causing you problems. This is loosely linked into family planning.
