It’s a talent, a natural ability. It’s a present, willingly given to someone without payment, but it can be both. This year we have been able to use our abilities to help give something back to our community. We pro-bono branded the Friends Of Alec Syphas, providing them with a professional identity that helped boost support for Alec, a young boy fighting Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy. Working at cost we provided our services to Sheffield Futures, a local charity dedicated to helping young people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. This Christmas we gave more toys than ever to the Hallam FM Mission Christmas Appeal, ensuring that stuggling parents were still able to give gifts to their children this year.
When I created eatsleepthink in 2002, I vowed to use my skills as a graphic designer to help people in need – but in order to give you have to recieve. The work we’ve recieved from you this year has allowed us to give a lot of people hope and happiness this festive season. So we thank you, from the very bottom of our hearts, for your wonderful support and continued patronage of our services.
Wishing you a very happy holiday and a healthy and prosperous new year.
All the merry best,
Mike Marshall and the eatsleepthink team
